Xinhua Silk RoadOn February 25th (local time), the 2025 China-Egypt Trade, Investment and Clean Energy Cooperation Forum & the 3rd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (CISCPE) Promotion Conference was held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
Chen Jian'an, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Hani Mahmoud, First Vice President of the Federation of Egyptian Chamber of Commerce (FECC), attended the conference and delivered speeches. More than 100 representatives of business associations and enterprises from both sides attended the conference.
The "Ten Partnership Actions" proposed at the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in 2024 have drawn up a new blueprint for China-Africa green cooperation in the fields of new energy, climate change and ecological protection, setting an international benchmark. Chen Jian'an stated that, under the guidance of the leaders of both countries, Egypt and China have aligned high-quality Belt and Road cooperation with Egypt's Vision 2030, and reaped substantive fruits in green development and digital cooperation, making China-Egypt relations a paradigm for China-Africa, China-Arab and South-South cooperation. In addition, the CCPIT will continue to strengthen China-Egypt economic and trade ties. It stands ready to work with the business community in Egypt to expand investment in renewable energy, to boost the energy transformation in Africa, and to deepen industrial and supply chain cooperation. The Council welcomes Egyptian enterprises' active participation in the 3rd CISCE.
During the event, the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation promoted the 3rd CISCE. CISCPE, as the world's first national-level exhibition focusing on supply chain, has been successfully held for two sessions in China since 2023. The 3rd CISCE will be held in Beijing from July 16 to 20, 2025, featuring exhibition zones of advanced manufacturing chain, clean energy chain, intelligent vehicle chain, green agriculture chain, digital technology chain, healthy life chain and supply chain service. More than 200 enterprises have already signed up to participate in the exhibition.
