On February 26, China-Saudi Arabia Entrepreneurs Roundtable and the promotion event for the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was successfully organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Yu Jianlong, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Changhua, Chinese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Mohammed Al Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council (SCBC), attended the event and delivered speeches.

Yu Jianlong said that under the strategic leadership of the heads of state of the two countries, China-Saudi Arabia relations have entered a new era and the bilateral cooperation has yielded fruitful results. Over the years, China and Saudi Arabia have jointly promoted the deep integration of "Belt and Road" initiative and Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030", bringing China-Saudi Arabia cooperation projects remarkable results and injecting strong impetus into the economic development of the two countries. CCPIT hopes to work with the Saudi business communities and make greater efforts to promote cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

Changhua noted that 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia. Under the joint guidance of the leaders of both countries, strategic mutual trust has been continuously strengthened, practical cooperation has borne fruitful results, cultural and people-to-people exchanges have flourished, and multilateral coordination has grown increasingly close. As the world's first national-level exhibition dedicated to supply chains, the CISCE provides an ideal platform for Chinese and Saudi enterprises to explore industrial and supply chain collaboration. Saudi enterprises have been warmly invited to participate in or visit the 3rd CISCE, and more fruitful outcomes in practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia have been expected to be created.

Al Ajlan said that Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" was pushing forward its economic transformation, and the government was improving the business environment by simplifying trade and investment procedures as well as offering incentives. SCBC is committed to strengthening bilateral investment cooperation, resolving obstacles to cooperation, powering the development of industrial partnerships, and raising the level of bilateral trade and investment. It is hoped that the business communities of the two countries will continue to deepen trade and investment cooperation, and contribute to the implementation of Belt and Road Initiative and the goals of "Vision 2030".

The attending guests expressed that there is enormous potential and broad prospects for economic and trade cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia. In the future, they would work towards promoting the quality and upgrading the level of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, jointly building the "the Belt and Road" partnership with high quality and strengthening communication and collaboration, so as to create a more favorable business environment for enterprises, further promote trade facilitation, reduce trade costs and boost two-way investments. Saudi enterprises and organizations will actively participate in the 3rd CISCE to build a stable and trustworthy industrial and supply chain partnership.

The event was co-organized by CCPIT and the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce (FSC), with a focus on promoting the 3rd CISCE, where the enterprises and organizations from both China and Saudi Arabia actively conducted business negotiations and signed a number of agreements.
