On March 17th, Ren Jingdong, Vice Administrator of China's National Energy Administration (NEA), and Adel Mohammed Abdullah Al-Zamel, Undersecretary of Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, jointly signed the "Framework Agreement on Technical Arrangements for Renewable Energy Projects between the National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy of the State of Kuwait" in Beijing. Responsible officials from the NEA's New Energy Department, International Cooperation Department, and the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) participated in the event.
