Focusing on economic and trade cooperation, the 6th China-Arab States Expo （“the Expo”）has harvested 403 cooperation achievements in clean energy, modern agriculture, digital economy and other fields, with a total planned investment and trade volume of RMB 170.97 billion. The number of participants and exhibitors records a new high of more than 11,200, including 78 domestic and foreign academicians and experts, more than 30 business associations, and 1,495 enterprises. The Expo covers an area of 40,000 square meters, in which nearly 1,000 companies from home and abroad showed up with more than 12,000 kinds of products. In addition, this is the first time the exhibitions of this Expo are open to the whole society for free, with a cumulative number of visitors exceeding 200,000.

Since 2013, 6 sessions of the Expos have been successfully held (once every two years). A total of 112 countries and regions, 29 Chinese and foreign dignitaries, 383 Chinese and foreign ministerial-level guests, and more than 7,500 domestic and foreign enterprises participated in the 6 sessions. In accordance with the mechanism of "China-Arab Co-operation, the Ministry-Autonomous Region Co-organization, and Civil Societies Co-sponsoring" and the mechanism of “guest country, theme province”, the Expo has successively invited six Arab countries, namely, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia as guest of honor, and six provinces (municipalities)，namely, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu, Henan, Chongqing and Guangdong as theme provinces, signing a total of 1,616 cooperation projects of various kinds.
