A vessel carrying more than 1,500 domestically produced vehicles departed from the Beibu Gulf Port on Monday, bound for the Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates. It marks the first ro-ro sea route at the Beibu Gulf Port, and first direct route between Beibu Gulf Port and Dubai Jebel Ali Port.
The route will shorten the transportation timeby 10 to 15 percent and reduce the logistics cost by 8 percent.
